The major new museum opening in the Bronx is The Hip Hop Museum, which is slated to open in 2026.
It is being built along the Harlem River as the anchor of the Bronx Point mixed-use development and will celebrate Hip Hop culture, preserve its legacy, and inspire future generations.
Additionally, The Bronx Museum of the Arts is undergoing a significant renovation that is also expected to be completed and fully reopen in 2026.
